Today' s job market for LCSW candidates can be demanding, and the availability of appropriate and effective LCSW supervision on site is often unavailable.

I have 30+ years of experience in multiple settings including Out Patient, In-patient, IOP, Partial Care (Day Programming), Clinical Case Management, In-home, School Based and MSW candidate supervision. I have come to appreciate the inevitable personal and professional challenges of having to work within a short-term, "evidenced based world" where accountability is essential. At the same time, I appreciate the need for more longer term approaches.

Clinical Social Work in today's world requires one to be highly informed, responsive, resourceful, culturally sensistive and genuinely concerned about assisting clients with self-actualization. 

Ideally, one's supervisor  has such experiences and capabilities.
